The Inaugural Hacking Event Will Award $5000 in Prizes.

Offshift is pleased to announce that we will be officially hosting the crypto-asset space’s inaugural blockchain-themed Capture the Flag (CTF) hackathon event on Saturday, January 23.

The event will span a full week, during which participating teams will compete to solve more than twenty unique challenges across six categories, including:

  1. Web
  2. Server Pwn
  3. Reversing
  4. Blockchain
  5. Miscellaneous
  6. Crypto

The event is open to individual participants and teams alike, and challenges will cater to a wide spectrum of ability; some will require only an elementary skillset, while others will demand advanced proficiency.

The individual or team that captures the most flags — that is, receives the most points from completing challenges of varying difficulties — will be deemed the victor. In addition, any team that solves a challenge will be eligible to receive a portion of the $5,000 purse that is dedicated to the event.

We would like to give a special thank you to the Xatha CTF Hacking Team , whose team members are organizing and managing the event.
