Offshift to Bring Privacy to All in 2025

As 2024 draws to a close, Offshift has some major announcements regarding the expansion of the protocol.

The team will be extending their novel privacy technology, created and proven over the last four-plus years, to allow users to shield, transfer and trade not only Ether, but potentially any asset with substantial liquidity on Uniswap.

It can be thought of as a privacy layer that allows users to trade completely anonymously, and settle on Uniswap.

Users seeking only privacy, and not to trade, can simply shield an asset and transfer it, completely anonymously, on-chain.

Development is well underway for these new features, which will complement Offshift Momiji, the project’s existing confidential assets platform launched in August 2024 .
