Hi and welcome back to another episode of “George rants about things.” If you missed my inaugural rant, make sure to check in and get up to speed about all of the OPSEC risks you ignore every time you open up the web . Today’s subject is one that sometimes keeps me up at night, because I’m not sure there’s a solution. As we work to build a new decentralized, permissionless financial system, in the back of my mind is always the irony that we build it on an infrastructure - the internet - that is controlled by very few, very large parties, and that it’s only possible to build on it because they allow us to.

Watch Offshift's PriFi Presentation at EthCC 2021
This week marked Offshift’s first appearance at the largest annual Ethereum event in Europe, Ethereum France’s EthCC . The three-day conference, as well as the week’s many side events, meetups, panels and parties, presented some valuable in-person networking opportunities for Offshift. Of the conference’s many great speakers was Offshift’s own Head of Business Development Alex Shipp . Alex’s presentation, “DeFi 2.0 - The Dawn of Private DeFi” was well received by both the Offshift community as well as those hearing about our project for the first time.

Offshift Lists XFT on PancakeSwap, Launches Pancake LP Rewards & Bolsters LP Rewards on SushiSwap
40,000 XFT will be allocated to PancakeSwap stakers over 8 months, and an additional 40,000 XFT will be allocated to SushiSwap stakers. Offshift has listed XFT on PancakeSwap, and the XFT-BNB market is now live . Offshift is also launching a PancakeSwap LP-Rewards Program on July 15 to establish incentives for liquidity provision on Binance Smart Chain (BSC), while bolstering our existing SushiSwap LP Rewards Program in order to maintain deep liquidity on Ethereum.
